Government Affairs Committee
The government affairs
committee meets monthly and has almost 300 members. It prioritizes
legislative issues, and using member feedback solicited by the
government affairs department, creates State and Federal Business
Advocacy Agendas that outlines issues that have an effect on the
business community. Committee members work for a diverse cross-section
of industries and organizations, and all Chamber members are welcome to
join.
The Government Affairs Committee works cooperatively with many
organizations and business development organizations like the Broward Alliance , Associated Industries of
Florida, the National Federation of Independent Businesses, and the U.S.
Chamber of Commerce.
